Florence Oregon is located in the central Oregon Coast, it lies at the mouth of the Siuslaw river on the Pacific Ocean. It is located about 60 miles west of Eugene and about halfway in between Newport and Coos Bay along U.S. Route 101. You can find the visitors center just off Highway 101 in town.
Florence has a wide range of activities to offer, from riding buggies in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, visiting the Sea Lion Caves located 200 ft below ground, catch a show at the Florence Events Center, shop at the boutiques and eat at riverfront restaurants while strolling through Historic Old Town Florence.

Florence oregon puts on several events a year ranging from the Rhododendron Festival, which Florence has hosted annually since 1908. Seasonal outdoor markets and events along the boardwalk. Check out the Florence Fest hosted at the Florence Events center as well as other art shows, craft fairs and celebrations. Even the tree lighting ceremony in Historic Old Town Florence.
